[Review+Swatch] China Glaze Apocalypse of Colour Collection for Halloween 2014

Hi! I have another Halloween collection for you today. This one's from China Glaze and is ominously named the Apocolypse of Colour - enjoy! :)

Don't Let The Dead Bite, 2 coats: pink, flesh-toned base with red hex and tiny bar glitter.

Ghoulish Glow, 3 coats: glow-in-the-dark top coat. This goes on sheer so a base color is recommended for daytime coverage and maximum glow. It's hard to see, but this did glow a bit more in real life. Later, I realized I should have layered it over a white or green for best results.

I Love Your Guts, 3 coats: shimmery matte red with fine black glitter.

But Of Corpse, 3 coats: shimmery matte green with fine black glitter.

Getting To Gnaw You, 3 coats: black base with fine copper glitter.

Rest In Pieces, 1 coat over purple: glitter top coat with gold and gold holo hexes, fine to large black hexes, long copper bars, and shorter gold holo bars. It applies and easily and has good glitter payoff.

Verdict: I like that this collection feels more unique, especially compared to the usual orange and black polishes released in most Halloween collections. None of the polishes gave me much trouble, and applied easily.

Availability: China Glaze® Apocalypse of Colour limited edition nail polish collection is available now at beauty supply stores nationwide including Sally Beauty and Ulta stores. Individual shades retail for $7.50 MSRP.
